VENICE BEACH

After Coachella and Las Vegas, my mind and body felt like it went through the wars. Kieran and I were aching for some down time after 10 days straight of wild mischiefs. And so we headed towards Venice Beach.

We hired bikes for the whole day and rode around with adrenaline and wonder in our eyes. It felt like time once again didn't matter to us and we were able to just sit back and watch the day turn into night. We rode from Venice Beach to Santa Monica Pier, dodging past people roller-blading and pacing. The streets here were filled with so much colour, better yet it was filled very colourful and interesting people. People that looked like they had penny-less pockets but were more than content to spend there impending days in this marvellous and wondrous place.

By the time the tall palm trees would disappear into the summer night sky, we would crawl back to our van Chevy, exhausted and weary. Our aching legs would reflect on the adventures we conquered for the day. I'd cook us dinner and Kieran and I would climb to the rooftop of our van, sit there with our legs crossed next to one another as we fill our hungry stomaches. Afterwards, Kieran would then read to me until my eyes would call it a day.
